Making Good Decisions

In Yesterday’s post, I wrote about making decisions. How can we make good decisions that will lead us on the correct path? The passage from yesterday tells us that inquiring of the Lord is the best choice. Pray to God with questions and have faith that His Holy Spirit will give answers. Reading in 1 Chronicles 10, Saul lost his way and went to a medium for advice.

We all face difficulty. We read about difficulties during the time of Saul and today we experience difficulty in our own lives. The important thing to remember is that prayer provides an answer. Hold onto the way of God like this song calls attention to: Busted Heart (Hold On To Me) For King and Country.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. – Proverbs 3:5-6

About Mark Shields

Mark volunteers as a member of the media ministry at his church and runs the 10:50 worship service computer. A few years ago, he started an on-line Bible study guide called “This Day with God Devotional”. He uses this as a tool in his journey through the Bible. We live in a very busy world with busy schedules so this tool has helped him continue with daily Bible reading and study. You’re invited to join him on this journey or check in every so often to read his thoughts.
