Our Hope All Day Long

In the post A Vision of the Holy City, we get a glimpse of heaven. The Holy City receives its glory from God as it shines day and night. There are streets and homes made of gold. The gates to the city are made from pearls and the walls that protect the city are made from other precious stone.

This is a different city beyond any modern city we could even imagine today; a place where those of honor and integrity reside because of accepting the Savior. What a wonderful way to begin our day with God as we look forward to one day spending eternity in this wonderful place … and to keep giving us hope, here’s a video to inspire all day: My Hope is in You – Aaron Shust.

Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful. – Hebrews 10:23

About Mark Shields

Mark volunteers as a member of the media ministry team at his church. A few years ago, he started an on-line Bible study guide called “This Day with God Devotional”. He uses this as a tool in his journey through the Bible. We live in a very busy world with busy schedules so this tool has helped him continue with daily Bible reading and study. Each of the studies are designed to help apply our faith in the work place, at school, or at home. Join him on this journey or check in every so often to read his thoughts.
