Beyond Your Wildest Dreams

What God gives in a plan for life is a treasure and the more we surrender to His plan, the more passion we have. In yesterday’s post Listen and Follow Directions, God would eventually bless Abraham with more descendants than stars in the sky or sands on all the beaches (v.17).

Here is a video I produced a while back about a person who settled in the city in which I currently live. He set out to fulfill his dreams many years ago; becoming a successful businessman in a new land. Eventually his family would leave a tract of land to the city. Today that land is a city park and zoo named in his honor. Enjoy the video: Beyond Your Wildest Dreams.

My child, eat honey, for it is good, and the honeycomb is sweet to the taste. In the same way, wisdom is sweet to your soul, If you find it, you will have a bright future, and your hopes will not be cut short. – Proverbs 24:13-14

About Mark Shields

Mark volunteers as a member of the media ministry team at his church. A few years ago, he started an on-line Bible study guide called “This Day with God Devotional”. He uses this as a tool in his journey through the Bible. We live in a very busy world with busy schedules so this tool has helped him continue with daily Bible reading and study. Each of the studies are designed to help apply our faith in the work place, at school, or at home. Join him on this journey or check in every so often to read his thoughts.

  1. Thanks Mark! The mountain was looking very high today but through the eyes of God it is just an ant hill. God Bless.
